The Northern Lebanon band is off to a strong start this year. This past weekend Northern Lebanon Marching Band took home 3rd place from their first cavalcade of the season. Competing in the American Division at Hempfield High School, the band scored a total of 72.15 points, just behind runner-up Conrad Weiser who finished with 72.3. Warwick won the division with a total of 74.8. Eastern York rounded out the top 4 teams.
The show, Jesus Christ Superstar, received higher marks in music than any other bands in the American division. Band director, Mr. Innes, said the show was the “...best performance yet.”
Northern Lebanon’s first total score of the season is its highest in several years. There are plans to change parts of the show for the next cavalcade at Warwick on Sept. 30, 2017. Best of luck!
