Everyone who plays guitar, knows the struggle of deciding on which guitar to buy. I believe that the best electric guitar to get is hands down, a Dean. Deans are unlike any other guitar out there. First, they are very light guitars; they are not big and bulky. They have long skinny necks, which allows for smoother playing. They have awesome body designs, complete with double humbucker pickups. Double humbucker pickups make guitars sound deep, making them ideal for playing heavy metal.
Deans are also equipped with a Floyd-rose bridge. This gives you a wider range of bends, and whammy bar tricks. However, Floyd-rose bridges make guitars a little tricky to tune.
Deans also have multiple tone knobs on the body. Adjusting these can create distortion, for chunky riffing or remove distortion, for crisp soloing.
Dean guitars are all solid body, meaning the neck in not screwed on to the body. I prefer this type because, I do not have to worry about whether or not the necks are screwed onto the guitar straight.
Loads of famous musicians use dean guitars. Dave Mustaine, of Megadeth, plays them. Dimebag Darrell, from Pantera played them. Michael Amott, of Arch Enemy also plays them. About nine others play these as well.
Some deans are equipped with sustainiacs, which can quadruple the duration of any note. Sustainiacs are very helpful if you want to play, Slayer, Steve Vai, or Pantera songs.
Almost all Deans have 24 frets. This greatly extends the range of notes that you could you hit. Having 24 frets lets you play any metal song you want.
Deans also make very good acoustic guitar. All acoustic guitars have about 20 frets. However, Dean makes a 24 fret acoustic guitar. This is the only acoustic guitar in the world that has this feature.
Deans also have good harmonics, which is a bell-like sound a guitar can make. Deans are awesome at making harmonics stick out.
Deans also make guitar players look awesome. The unique shape of their bodies, and top-notch paint jobs, can make any guitarist look professional.
