The Northern Lebanon Boys' Basketball team is gearing up for the 2017 - 2018 season with a focus on getting players to work together and practice more on their defensive game, according to head coach, Mr. George. After a strong finish last season, the Vikings are looking to improve. Last season the Vikings placed second out of all the local public schools, and overall they finished in fourth place out of eight teams in the L-L Section III. The year’s squad has multiple players returning from last season including Michigan Daub, Zach Donmoyer, Caleb Light, Thomas Folmer, Alex Yeager Henry Hubbard, Cam Gensler, Josh Bowers and Eyan Margut. Three new players are joining the team including Ethan Borcky, Christian Trader and and Spencer Mullins. The Boys have their first game next Friday night, Dec 8th against Palmyra at the Donegal Tip-Off Tourney (Come out and support the guys!) Mr. George’s main goal for the season is for the team to make it to the district playoffs and win their first playoff game. Coach George hopes to make his goal a reality by pushing the guys to create more open shots for their teammates.
