The latest romance movie that everyone is talking about is To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. A story about a girl named Lara Jean Song Covey, who writes five letters to each of her crushes, but doesn’t send them. One of those crushes is her sister’s boyfriend, but one day mysteriously those letters are mailed to each of the five guys: Peter Kavinsky, Kenny, Josh, Lucas, and John Ambrose. Only three go to her school, which are Peter, Josh, and Lucas. Lucas comes up to her and tells her that it’s cool she thought of him like that, but he plays for the other team. The other letters like Peter go up to her trying to say he’s flattered by the letter, but he’s not interested. Then Josh gets the letter and tries to talk to Lara, but she doesn't want him to know that she used to be in love with him because he was her sister’s boyfriend. In order for him to back off, she and Peter devise a plan so they both get what they want. They pretend to date so her crush doesn’t figure it out, and so his ex-girlfriend would get jealous and get back together with him. Eventually through this plan feelings start to develop. There are humiliating moments like ex-best friends to deal with, and deciding if this relationship is what they want for real. I recommend watching this movie. Even though it may be cheesy it’s cheesey in a good way. It shows how a guy should treat you in a relationship after all the drama.
