This week’s Senior Athlete Spotlight shines on Luis Negreiros. Luis is a member of both the varsity wrestling and football teams. When asked what he liked most about athletics Luis said, “The thing I like most about sports is being able to create friendships, and do do things I wouldn’t normally be allowed to do...like hit them.” Being a star member of the championship football and wrestling teams, it is a good thing Luis doesn’t hit his friends!
Luis said his most memorable moment was when the wrestling team upset five teams in a row to make it to the state finals last year. Luis is very involved in the Northern Lebanon community, and stays very busy when not in school. Luis has been a part of three championship wrestling teams and two championship football teams. Luis has helped the wrestling team reach the state championships three years in a row. Luis works at Penn National Racetrack working with the racehorses. He is currently working on building an online store for practical business experience. Luis is currently enrolled at the Lebanon County Career and Technology Center where he studies Automotive Technology.
After graduation Luis plans to attend college to wrestle while studying business in hopes of one day owning his own business.
